Addressing the Syrian civil war, Trump disparaged the Obama administration: “The world has blown up around Barack Obama.” He continued, “It is the level of stupidity that is incredible. I’m telling you, I used to use the word incompetent. Now I just call them stupid. I went to an Ivy League school. I’m very highly educated. I know words, I have the best words. I have the best, but there is no better word than stupid. Right? There is none, there is none. There’s no, there’s no, there’s no word like that.”

As far as having the best words, he has misspelled his officials’ name, his wife’s name, and his own name, coined the word “covfefe,” and sent a tweet packed with five typos.

said he was the least anti-Semitic and least racist person “you’ve ever seen in your entire life”?

Trump made the remark to Jake Turx of the Jewish publication Ami Magazine, who had not accused Trump of being Anti-Semitic.

Number one, I am the least anti-Semitic person that you’ve ever seen in your entire life. Number two, racism. The least racist person.

said he had the best temperament of any presidential candidate ever?

Trump said to a crowd in July 2016,

I think I have the best temperament or certainly one of the best temperaments of anybody that’s ever run for the office of president. Ever. Because I have a winning temperament. I know how to win.

He made similar claims at other campaign rallies and during the debates with Hillary Clinton.

asked “a pretty Korean lady” intelligence analyst why she wasn’t part of North Korean negotiations?

The analyst was briefing Trump on Pakistan when he asked where her people were from and why she wasn’t involved with North Korea.

The remarks came a day after Trump made a reference to “shithole countries.”

released intelligence on the Russia investigation at the request of Sean Hannity?

Trump declassified a variety of documents pertaining to the investigation of Russian election interference and his administration’s own possible obstruction of that investigation. It included reports on warrants, interviews, and personal text messages of FBI agents. The intelligence community immediately derided the move as unprecedented and dangerous.

Trump said he had not reviewed any of the documents in question, but made the decision because of Fox News commentators:

I have not reviewed them. I have been asked by many people in Congress as you know to release them. I have watched commentators that I respect begging the president of the United States to release them….I have been asked by so many people that I respect, please — the great Lou Dobbs, the great Sean Hannity, the wonderful great Jeanie Pirro.

His remark was,

I just want to thank all the incredible men and women who have done such a great job helping with Florence. This is a tough hurricane — one of the wettest we’ve ever seen, from the standpoint of water. Rarely have we had an experience like it. And it certainly is not good. But the people of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, all of the areas affected, you’ve been incredible.

Hurricane Florence left extensive damage throughout the Carolinas, and was directly responsible for 24 deaths.

Trump made the remarks at a rally in Michigan to explain why he backed funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. His 2020 budget planned to cut funding for the initiative by 90 percent.
