repeatedly said Obama would start a war with Iran?

The various tweets in which Trump predicted that Obama would attack Iran to secure the Presidency never came to pass. Instead, the Obama administration negotiated the Iran Nuclear Deal, which Trump withdrew the US from. Trump also later ordered a drone strike on a senior Iranian official and threatened to bomb Iranian cultural sites, prompting outcry and threats of retaliation.

tweeted about the removal of his cameo from Home Alone 2 on Canadian television?

In the 2019 holiday season, conservative social media began buzzing about the omission of a scene in a Canadian Broadcast Company cut of the 1992 film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The scene features Trump in the Plaza Hotel to give directions to the lead character. After outcry, the CBC revealed that the film had had several scenes cut for time, and that the edit in question had been used in broadcasts since 2014.

Trump joked the controversy, tweeting, “I guess Justin T doesn’t much like my making him pay up on NATO or Trade!” and “The movie will never be the same! (just kidding)”.

attacked a 16-year-old activist on Twitter after she won Time’s Person of the Year?

After Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg was selected to be Time’s Person of the Year for 2019, Trump responded over Twitter:

Trump’s campaign team also tweeted a manipulated image of the Time cover, placing his head on Thunberg’s body.

Thunberg didn’t reply directly, but updated her Twitter bio to read, “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”

The same campaign Twitter account also depicted Trump as Marvel super-villain Thanos, while Trump has displayed fake covers of Time featuring himself at his golf clubs.

was depicted by his own campaign as genocidal Marvel super-villain Thanos?

The Twitter account notes that it is “Managed by the #TeamTrump 2020 campaign.”

The use of this particular scene is especially confusing, as it was the moment in the Marvel film Endgame when Thanos discovers he has lost his god-like powers and is immediately defeated.

Jim Starlin, who created the character of Thanos, shared his reaction: “After my initial feeling of being violated, seeing that pompous fool using my creation to stroke his infantile ego, it finally struck me that the leader of my country and the free world actually enjoys comparing himself to a mass murderer.”

The same Twitter account photoshopped Trump’s head over a teenage girl’s from a Time Person of the Year cover.

referred to his own “great and unmatched wisdom”?

The Trump failed to elaborate on what “I’ve done before!” meant in reference to totally destroying and obliterating an economy.

The tweet came following Trump’s decision to withdraw US forces from a base in Syria, the occupation of the base by Russian forces, and Turkey’s subsequent operations against Kurdish militia groups that had long been US allies.

claimed that he predicted Osama bin Laden’s attacks a year before 9/11?

Trump has made the claim multiple times, such during his campaign on the Alex Jones Radio Show, on Twitter, and after the raid on ISIS leader al-Baghdadi when he claimed that the event was more important than the death of bin Laden. Trump did in fact mention Osama bin Laden in his 2000 book The America We Deserve in the context of how the Clinton administration was mishandling multiple threats, referencing a 1998 air strike on bin Laden’s compound. While Trump originally asserted that no one had heard of bin Laden, he was a well-known and reported on threat at the time, which owed to the reasoning behind the airstrikes in the first place. Trump’s book also did warn of a large terror attack, although this was already the driving force of concern about bin Laden and other possible sources of terrorism.

went on a Twitter rant against the governor of California, threatening to deny emergency funding amid widespread wildfires?

Trump argued that the governor was failing in managing the forest fires because he refused to “‘clean’ his forest floors,” and instead was doing what “his bosses, the environmentalists, demand.” The fires were not located in forested areas, and clearing brush from forests is already a widely employed tactic. Trump previously referred to this as “raking” the forest floors.
