Trump had tweeted, “I don’t believe the four Congresswomen are capable of loving our Country,” saying that they should go back to their own countries. All four were US citizens, with three having been born in the US. After lying about having prepared talking points to attack the Congresswomen, he then demanded an apology from Ilhan-Omar of Minnesota. She had remarked about Republican Congressmen only supporting Israel because they were paid to do so from Israeli lobby groups. When she walked back the remark, Trump called her apology “lame.”

In an April 3, 2019 speech to the National Republican Congressional Committee, Trump said, “If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value. And they say the noise causes cancer.” He didn’t elaborate on who “they” are or offer evidence.

His speech came the same day he repeatedly mispronounced the word “origins.”

Trump repeatedly tried to fight the construction of wind farms, especially near his properties, which in one instance left him as the target of laughter by Scottish parliament. He also referred to climate change as a “Chinese hoax.”

Trump has since made the claim multiple times on Twitter, during interviews, and at rallies.

The Mueller Report specifically said that Trump was not exonerated from the claimed crimes.

Robert Mueller has since explicitly denied that his report exonerated the President of obstructing the Special Council investigation. This was reiterated in front of Congress.

The companies in question, aluminium giant US Rusal, En+ Group, and JSC EuroSibEnergo were partly owned by Oleg Deripaska, an ally to Russian President Putin. Deripaska has also been linked to Russian interference in US elections.

Trump previously attempted to obstruct sanctions on Russia that had been passed with bipartisan support in Congress.

said of the Constitution, “I have an Article II, where I have to the right to do whatever I want”?

Trump has made the assertion about Article II several times. This claim is, of course, false.

Trump has also derided the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution as “phony.”

Trump said repeatedly before and after the election that his tax returns would eventually be released, but couldn’t because they were under perpetual audit. Being under audit does not deny one the ability to share them.

After the House subpoenaed his financial records from the IRS, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin defied the subpoena.

Trump filed suits against the US House Ways and Means Committee and the state of New York to prevent his taxes from being obtained. His legal team’s contention was that a sitting president enjoys “absolute immunity from criminal process of any kind.”

After being stuck in appeals, the Supreme Court decided to review both legal cases, Trump v. Mazars US, LLP and Trump v. Deutsche Bank AG. A decision is still pending.
