Trump made a similar tweet referencing losers and haters on the anniversary of 9/11. He has also described himself as a whiner, and has said that his temperament hasn’t changed since the first grade.
When Trump was asked who he was consulting with on foreign policy, he could only specify himself. Of any others, he said, “I listen to a lot of people, I talk to a lot of people, and at the appropriate time I’ll tell you who the people are, but I speak to a lot of people, but my primary consultant is myself, and I have a good instinct for this stuff.”
Trump went on to make similar remarks about his “large brain” after becoming President.

In reply to a remark from Marco Rubio during a Fox News debate, Trump said,

After his victory in the Nevada Republican primary, Trump boasted about the demographics that voted for him.
We won the evangelicals. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.
While Trump garnered 57% of the vote by those with only a high school education, he had 42% votes by college graduates, and only 37% by those with a postgraduate degree.

Trump said to a crowd in July 2016,
I think I have the best temperament or certainly one of the best temperaments of anybody that’s ever run for the office of president. Ever. Because I have a winning temperament. I know how to win.
He made similar claims at other campaign rallies and during the debates with Hillary Clinton.

Hurricane Florence left extensive damage throughout the Carolinas, and was directly responsible for 24 deaths.

Trump made the remarks at a rally in Michigan to explain why he backed funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. His 2020 budget planned to cut funding for the initiative by 90 percent.

During an interview on 60 Minutes, Trump took offense at the notion that he might not be a humble person, retorting, “I think I am actually humble, I think I’m much more humble than you would understand.”
Trump claimed that he graduated top of his class and criticized Obama’s grades, but never provided college transcripts. His lawyer Michael Cohen threatened schools on his behalf not to release any information on his grades.
William T. Kelley, professor of Marketing at Wharton School of Business and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, said over the course of decades that Trump was the dumbest student he ever had.
Frank DiPrima, to whom Kelly said this to repeatedly, recounted:
Professor Kelley told me 100 times over three decades that “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had.” I remember his emphasis and inflection — it went like this — “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had.” Dr. Kelley told me this after Trump had become a celebrity but long before he was considered a political figure. Dr. Kelley often referred to Trump’s arrogance when he told of this — that Trump came to Wharton thinking he already knew everything.
