called in to Fox & Friends where he ranted for 53 minutes?

During the 53 minutes, Trump spoke at length about various conspiracy theories and made several false claims about the ongoing impeachment hearings. Among them, Ukraine’s supposed role in tampering with elections, and how the phone call with the Ukrainian leader at the center of the impeachment hearings was made up. He also directly admitted to holding up the military aid that had been agreed upon by Congress, saying, “I mean, I asked it very point-blank, because we’re looking for corruption. There’s tremendous corruption. Why should we be giving hundreds of millions of dollars to countries when there’s this kind of corruption?”

Trump had also previously called in to Fox & Friends.

said windmills cause cancer?

In an April 3, 2019 speech to the National Republican Congressional Committee, Trump said, “If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value. And they say the noise causes cancer.” He didn’t elaborate on who “they” are or offer evidence.

His speech came the same day he repeatedly mispronounced the word “origins.”

Trump repeatedly tried to fight the construction of wind farms, especially near his properties, which in one instance left him as the target of laughter by Scottish parliament. He also referred to climate change as a “Chinese hoax.”

said he lost the popular vote because of fraud?

Trump claimed that he lost the popular vote because of millions of double votes and illegal immigrants committing voter fraud. Though he repeated the claims many times, no evidence has been provided. He has asserted that voter ID laws are necessary to curb fraud, saying that Americans need ID to buy groceries but not to vote.

The claims began immediately after Trump’s election victory.

Trump repeated the assertions even after inauguration. Then-Press Secretary Sean Spicer said in Trump’s defense,

I think he’s stated his concerns of voter fraud and people voting illegally during the campaign and he continues to maintain that belief based on studies and evidence people have presented to him.

Spicer also defended the President’s claim that he had the largest inaugural crowd size ever. After six months, Spicer resigned and was replaced by Anthony Scaramucci, who held the office for a record 11 days.

Though the Trump administration created an elections integrity commission to find evidence of fraud, none was ultimately found. He has continued to repeat the claim.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Congressional proposals included an expansion of voting by mail. Trump said that such measures would never allow for a Republican to be elected again.

called into Fox & Friends and went on a half hour rant?

During the freewheeling interview, he railed against Iran and the nuclear deal, distanced himself from the “crazy” Stormy Daniels story and his personal attorney Michael Cohen, and slammed Obama’s handling of North Korea while praising his own. He also spoke about his friendship with Kanye West and boasted about the employment rate of blacks under his administration, noting, “Republicans really did the thing. Lincoln was a Republican.”

The cast looked visibly uncomfortable throughout the last few minutes, during which Trump complained about “how dishonest the news is,” Brian Kilmeade suggested, “I’m not your doctor, Mr. President, but I would recommend you watch less of them.” Trump replied, “well I don’t watch them at all…I watched leakin’ lying Comey last night.” He had sacked James Comey, Director of the FBI, for investigating Russia election interference. He went on to attack the “witch hunt” from the Mueller investigation, and said “I would give myself an A+, no one has done what I’ve been able to do, and I did it despite the fact that I have a phony cloud over my head that doesn’t exist.” Kilmeade finally ended the interview by cutting into a rant about the Justice Department and “crooked” FBI by saying, “we talked to you all day, but it looks like you have a million things to do, but I hope you can join us again.”

Trump has called in several times to Fox & Friends as President, including one that lasted 52 minutes.

said he would refuse to accept election results even up to election day?

Trump repeatedly claimed that the 2016 election was rigged, and cast doubt on whether he would accept the results as legitimate. He reiterated this during a debate with Hillary Clinton when asked if he maintained his view on the election.

I will look at it at the time. I’m not looking at anything now; I will look at it at the time. What I’ve seen – what I’ve seen is so bad. First of all, the media is so dishonest and so corrupt, and the pile-on is so amazing. The New York Times actually wrote an article about it, but they don’t even care. It’s so dishonest, and they’ve poisoned the minds of the voters. But unfortunately for them, I think the voters are seeing through it.

What I’m saying now is that I will tell you at the time. I will keep you in suspense, OK?

Trump later blamed his loss of the popular vote on mass fraud.

perpetuated the birther conspiracy theory?

Trump long perpetuated the debunked conspiracy, which held that Obama was born in Kenya and ineligible to be President, despite a lack of any evidence. He claimed that he had sent investigators to Hawaii who “cannot believe what they’re finding,” though nothing ever came of it.

In 2011, President Obama released his long-form birth certificate and made fun of Trump’s claims when he attended the 2011 Correspondent’s Dinner.

Even after Trump announced his candidacy in 2016, he defended his role in spreading the conspiracy theory against Obama, saying it “resonated with a lot of people,” and that he “doesn’t know, nobody knows” if the long-form birth certificate released was real.

When Trump finally acknowledged that Obama was born in the United States during his 2016 Presidential campaign, he blamed the conspiracy on opponent Hillary Clinton.

claimed that Texas Senator Ted Cruz’ father was was involved with JFK’s assassination?

Trump first made the claim in a phone interview with Fox News:

His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald’s being – you know, shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous.

Trump defended his remark, saying, “All I did is point out the fact that on the cover of the National Enquirer there was a picture of him and crazy Lee Harvey Oswald having breakfast…This was a magazine that, in many respects, should be well respected. I mean if that was The New York Times, they would have gotten Pulitzer Prizes for their reporting.”

Trump also attacked Cruz’s wife’s appearance on Twitter.

was interviewed by InfoWars conspiracy theorist Alex Jones?

Among Trump’s claims were that he saw Muslims cheering 9/11, that he had predicted the rise of Osama bin Laden, that he was initially against the Iraq War, and that other countries would respect and like America more with him as President. Trump concluded the interview by praising Jones’ reputation, despite Jones being notorious for his unhinged temperament and rampant propagation of conspiracy theories.
